Start with a draft, then finish the listing
A liquidation spreadsheet is a starting point for your listings. It contains products and quantities, but usually not the photos, condition details or item specifics buyers need. The useful shortcut is to move reviewed inventory into eBay drafts, then finish those details before publishing.
PalletMargin prepares a draft CSV from products you approve. It does not publish listings to eBay or guarantee that a manifest contains every field your category requires. Keep your original manifest so you can compare quantities with the inventory you actually receive.
1. Upload and research the right products
Sign in, upload an Excel or CSV manifest, and choose Sell on eBay. Check that the product names, quantities and identifiers represent individual sellable units. A row containing ten items should not become ten separate quantity-ten listings.
Select the condition you expect to sell when the file does not supply one. Run analysis, then inspect the returned sold comparisons. Match the model, capacity, generation, accessories and condition. A UPC narrows the search, but it does not prove that a used item is complete or working.
2. Review the fields that become your drafts
Open Edit output for each product you intend to list. Review its title, price, quantity and eBay category ID. Category IDs are numeric; do not substitute a category name. Approve the row only after these fields are correct. Rows still marked Needs Review or Missing Required Information need attention before export.
For example, a manifest row with three matching game consoles should produce a reviewed draft with quantity three and a price for one console. If their conditions differ, separate them into appropriate inventory rows before preparing listings. Do not describe an untested return as working simply because a comparable item sold as used.
3. Download the CSV and finish in Seller Hub
Use Get your eBay bulk upload file after reviewing the results. The export package is a separate, one-time purchase for that manifest. Download the CSV and use eBay Seller Hub Reports to upload it as draft inventory. Read the upload result and correct any rejected rows.
Finish your actual photos, condition, item specifics and shipping choices in eBay before publishing. Review a small batch first. Templates and category requirements can change, so use eBay’s current Reports instructions if its uploader requests a different field. Our sample below shows the draft format; it is demonstration inventory, not a listing you should publish.
Avoid the errors that create extra work
Keep UPCs as text so leading zeros survive spreadsheet edits. Check whether quantities mean units, packs or cases. Never reuse one stock photo or a generic condition description to conceal differences between items. An export saves data entry; your product inspection still determines what you can honestly sell.
Once your first batch imports correctly, use the same review process for the rest of the pallet. Keep the downloaded file and eBay upload report together so you can trace an error back to its manifest row.
