Learn how comparable sold listings, median prices and confidence inform pallet valuation.
Sold does not always reveal the amount
An accepted Best Offer may display the original asking price. PalletMargin excludes these comparisons unless the actual accepted amount is verified. Asking prices are not treated as completed sales.
Inspect the evidence
Look at the product title, condition, sale date, source URL when available and rejection reason. Valid comparisons are limited to recent sales in US dollars. A wrong model or accessory can look deceptively similar.
Why use a median
The middle of the accepted price distribution is less sensitive to extreme sales than a simple average. A conservative outlier filter helps, but sparse or ambiguous results are still flagged. At least three high-confidence comparisons are required for automatic valuation.
